Why choose us

Why Interior by Josh

What aircraft owners look for when they ask around for a real aircraft upholsterer.

Aircraft-only focus

Two decades specializing in aircraft interiors — not a side desk at an auto shop. Experimental through corporate cabins.

On-field hangar shop

Work happens at Corona Municipal Airport (AJO). Owners can talk scope face-to-face and see craftsmanship in the hangar.

Pattern-true fit

Panels and covers cut for the specific aircraft. Seams, foam, and carpet that respect vibration, UV, and real flight use.

Clear scope, realistic timelines, and progress you can inspect — the way peer shops earn word-of-mouth in pilot groups.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers before you call. Every aircraft is different — phone is still the best first step.

What aircraft do you work on?

General aviation singles and twins, classics, experimental, and light corporate cabins. If you’re unsure whether your make/model fits, call with the type and year.

Can I do seats only, or do I need a full interior?

Both. Many owners start with seats or carpet; others plan a full cabin. We’ll scope what makes sense for condition, budget, and downtime.

How long does a typical project take?

Depends on scope — recover vs. full refurb — and shop schedule. After a consult we’ll give a realistic window so you can plan annuals and ferry flights.

Do you help choose materials and colors?

Yes. Design consults cover leathers, fabrics, carpet, and colorways so the cabin looks intentional and holds up in flight.

Where is the shop?

Corona Municipal Airport area — 1911 Aviation Dr, Hangar 43, Corona, CA. Easy access for Southern California-based aircraft.

How do I get a quote?

The shop shows up in pilot groups when owners want a real aircraft upholsterer. Two decades on the field builds that kind of word of mouth.
